BioNurí means 'my light' or 'my fire' in Hebrew, which is appropriate because of my imperious and intense personality along with the close relationships I have with my family.
I was born in late August of 1980 -- a virgo, a monkey, and a Jew (I don't think there's a astrological sign in the Jewish calendar) and am a graphic designer and IT Manager for a print and design house in Chicago, IL after I received my degree(s) from the (now closed) School of Interdisciplinary Studies at Miami University with foci in digital graphic design & Spanish philology and culture. So that means that unlike a large group of my peers from the Western College Program, I actually use my foci and undergraduate degree. It's pretty much a dream-come-true. Yay me.
I like most Asian and all Israeli foods, folk music, comfortable clothing and computers. I could almost be called a nerd, but I prefer to be called a hot-nerd... cuz I'm damned sexy. I treat my computer, like many nerds, as a person. Her name is Nebari, and works hard at making me happy. I like to say that I don't watch that much television, but I do like the the SciFi, Comedy, and Cartoon channels and have become addicted to shows that I know I shouldn't. The Comcast DVR is a drug I tell you - it's a delicious drug.
ps. Being having few close friends is good. But more friends are always welcome -- I love to meet people from online and if I'm in your neck -of-the-woods, I'm always up for Thai food or tea or ice cream -- or Thai tea flavored ice cream, even. If you've read my LJ and think I'm interesting, chat me up! I'm not too keen on random people friending me for no reason and not saying hi. Interested, single, gay, Jewish/agnostic men in my age group are encouraged to step forward... now.
